Choir

“Beattie Bunch”

This is a non-audition choir for 6th grade girls and boys. Students will be taught warm-up exercises, breathing techniques, how to match pitch, and basic sight-singing skills. We will sing a variety of musical styles, work on simple music theory, and focus on correct vocal production and ensemble singing. This choir will be performing in the winter and spring concerts, as well as festivals and community events throughout the year. 

“Les Voix Angeliques”
This is an audition-only choir for 7th and 8th grade girls. We will sing a variety of musical styles, work on music theory and sight-singing, and focus on correct vocal production. In addition, we will be performing in different languages, and working on a Capella singing. This choir will be performing in the winter and spring concerts, as well as festivals and community events throughout the year. 8th graders in this choir will be fully prepared to accept the challenges of any high school choral program.
 
“Musique du Coeur”

This is an audition-only advanced show choir for 7th and 8th grade girls and boys. Students will continue developing their vocal technique and skills in music theory and sight-singing. In addition, they will include the element of advanced dance choreography in their performances. This group will perform in the winter and spring concerts, festivals, and community events. 8th graders in this choir will be fully prepared to accept the challenges of any high school choral program.
