DUE DATES FOR AVID APPLICATIONS
Applications for CVHS and REV are due Friday, March 12th. Applications for RHS are due Thursday, March 11th. You can turn your completed application in to the Student Center (Mrs. Farley's box), and Mrs. Farley will forward it to the high school. Good luck!

MINIMUM DAY AND SHOPPING CENTER
PARENT REMINDER
Beattie Middle School students have been gathering and loitering unsupervised at the Stater Brother’s shopping center after school on minimum days. This has caused problems with our neighboring community. We are asking that all students go home after school before going to the shopping center. We are asking that no students be allowed to stop at the shopping center on their way home without an adult. As you are aware, it is our goal to have a positive relationship with the community that surrounds Beattie Middle School. With your help on this issue we can continue to reach that goal. We thank you for your assistance with this concern.

A few things to remember about our Student Center
This is one of the most important places on campus.
The Student Center is located at the back of the administration building on the west side.
Go to the Student Center for these activities:
Checking out/picking-up your student
Late students & students returning from appointments check-in here:
Meeting with a counselor (Ms. Kaiser, Mrs. Farley, Ms. Rosenberg)
All attendance questions or concerns (Mrs. Regalado)
Registration questions, updating student contact information (Ms. Webster)
Meeting with the Assistant Principal, Mr. Ruhm's Secretary (Ms. Valle)
Security (Mrs. Jimenez)
Dropping off a student lunch, backpack, clothes, etc…

Bus Parking Area
At the end of the day, this area is off limits to all private vehicle traffic. Our buses must have a clear path to enter, load students and exit. As you head south on Orange Street into our front parking lot, please do not block the bus entry driveway. We thank you for your attention to this traffic flow concern.
Front Parking Lot
As you all know, this is a very busy area. Everyone dropping off or picking-up students must drive very cautiously. Please remind your student to enter and exit your vehicle carefully. They should not dart across the flow of traffic. They should make sure that all drivers see them before crossing to the front gate or exiting campus to your vehicle. And finally, we ask that all drivers exhibit a high level of patience. The safety of your student and all the students who attend Beattie is Key.
